Fire Damage Restoration

Fire damage restoration can be an expensive task. However, the cost of not having a fire damaged property thoroughly restored by experts can be higher. Smoke and fumes that can remain in a building can be highly toxic if ignored, and the acidity of any soot left behind can cause secondary damage to your property.

When it comes to fire damage restoration it makes sense to call in the professionals.

Rainbow, Derby conduct many fire damage restoration projects each year and have the skills, equipment and knowledge to get your building back to a usable state quickly and efficiently.

With the right tools, machinery and equipment, they’ll remove smoke, fumes and any odours that may have been left behind.

They’ll remove traces of soot and carbon staining. Then they’ll move on to any water damage caused when the fire was extinguished, or caused as a result of any damage resulting from the fire.

Using their professional equipment, they’ll dry out any residual water and then thoroughly clean the area to remove any pathogens, bacteria or mould spores that the water may have left behind.

These photographs were taken in a property that the Rainbow, Derby team was called to in order to carry out fire damage restoration.

Before fire damage restoration started

Before we started work, the area was stained with thick black soot.

During restoration

We set to work removing the carbon stains and soot, gradually revealing the wall’s original paintwork.

It was a painstaking job removing the acidic carbon staining from every brick and the grouting in between.

Afterwards, the wall was once more back to its original paintwork and ready for a fresh coat of paint, and free from the threat of secondary damage.

Leaving properties in need of fire damage restoration can be detrimental. It can allow secondary damage to occur, making repair bills even more costly. Moving quickly on a property that needs restoration following a fire can make the difference between whether items can be repaired and restored, or whether they need full replacement.

We understand that fires don’t always happen at a convenient time so, here at Rainbow, Derby, we have a team of specialists in fire damage restoration available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. So, if you’re in need of fire damage restoration or would like a quote, give us a call on 01332 332 834.
